We Fought The Good Fight…

But Covid has managed to make its way into our household. Mark and I are down for the count with Covid-19. It has been 2 and a half years since the start of the pandemic. Since then, we managed to avoid contracting the virus at the height of the pandemic. Once the world opened up, we traveled to the Happiest Place on Earth in sunny and way overpopulated Orlando. Shortly thereafter, Mark and I started school which involved constant interaction with others, and for a three-year-old, it means close interaction and virtually no personal space.

Still… up until this point, we made it without covid… until we decided to hop on a plane and head to our family home in Ohio.

As I am typing this, it is my birthday. I am on the tail end of the symptoms… but Mark’s symptoms have just begun. He is running a 101.6 fever and has not been able to stop coughing. He still has an appetite, fortunately. Overall he is just extremely sleepy and wants to cuddle, which I am not opposed to.

I intended to share with you the Part 2 of our Ohio trip, unfortunately, I began my Covid conundrum just 2 days after returning home. Next week, I will gladly have the article up for you to read all about the place I call my home.

Until then, we will continue to rest and recover because this is no joke.
